Research and Planning: Audience Feedback

From these questionnaire results I have made a first plan decision for the teaser trailer to be 1 minute, have a lot of interesting shots, create a twisted storyline to develop fear and suspense in the audience. Furthermore it will be a horror movie as this will attract a bigger audience according to the results. The teaser trailer needs to be linked with another genre because this can place more effect on the amount of viewers so our group have decided to place comedy scenes in the teaser trailer to show it's a hybrid film. Most of the people who were questioned were 17-18 so the film would be classified for 15 or 18 year old viewers and as they were mainly female I found that Becky and Laura's idea of having the chick flick sort of plot in the beginning of the movie would be successful but as the plot is more likely based on horror the film would be aiming for both female and male audiences.
