Planning and Research: Plan for this week

The last of our shooting was supposed to be shot today morning but as Lauren couldn't make it there at the college location we decided to leave the shooting for Wednesday morning from around 9:30-10:30. This is what I have planned to do this week:

Research and Planning: Target Audience for Film Poster

For my poster I am aiming for both female and male audience who are around the age of 15/18-44, film will be advertised for those who are not too old for possible reasons of being light-hearted or something similiar such as too young and fear from nightmares so this age range has been chosen. This poster could take the interest of those who are big fans of horror movies in general. They will be most likely lower class people who have the time to spare in watching films. As the poster is only focusing on one film I am targeting on a bigger audience within the social classes, these will be middle and lower class. They could be students who do/don't recieve EMA, part/full time workers who spend time with friends or family at cinemas especially to watch horror movies. Also older people are mostly likely to do the same, could be with family so they are targeted too.

Planning and Research: Target Audience for Film Magazine

For my magzine I am aiming for both female and male audience who are around the age of 15-44. This magazine could take the interest of those who are doing BTEC film studies in high school to someone who is a big fan of movies in general. They will be most likely lower class people who have the time to spare in reading magazines and watching relative films. They could be students, full time workers or people who are ambitious to gain a career in the film industry wanting to read onto movie reviews and actor/director/producer interviews. The target audience of lower class students could be EMA recievers/part time workers who spend time with friends at cinemas and want to know how movies are progressing. Also older people that buy film magazines could frequently purchase film magazines for same reasons.

Katie: Is that?
Sarah: No it can't be
Katie: Ughhh (horrified)
(Both start weeping a little bit)
Sarah: You must have seen her, you must have seen where she went!
Katie: How do you expect me to see her? I've not looked in here and we've only just come in here, she was right behind us!

For shooting I checked if the weather will be okay and as it's just cloudy it seems to be good for our 3 planned days to film.





This is the forecast for tommorrow. It seems fine for filming the teaser trailer outside.



Monday's plan: As we had to cancel shooting on Monday we had to leave it for Wednesday. Outside filming isn't necessary for this day but checked the forecast bearing in mind any possible change of plan.

For our teaser trailer we had found 8 people to do the acting for this production. Out of the 8 we chose 4 including myself, Becky and Laura to take part. Also we needed a boy so we picked Brendon to take the role of the college "psycho" male character, the girls are the 3 popular college close friends and Laura is chosen to be the female lead character as she she has higher acting skills.
